LOL. Can you tell from my Flickr favorites who is my next insane obsession?

I’m going to take a wild guess and say Rosy. I’ve been stalking Supia’s website every single day to see if they have begun offering tan skin again but Supia told me they want to offer tan but don’t know when. This is driving me insane, which means I’m considering getting Rosy in normal skin. I’m divided, though. I really want a tan skin doll because I feel normal skin is unrealistically light. However, I also want Rosy to look good in photos with Hazy and I’m concerned that the difference in skin color will make photos look unbalanced. Also, photos I’ve seen of tan Rosy makes her look less Asian (maybe?) and I want her to look as Asian as possible. My decision comes down to: Do I want Rosy as an individual to be my dream doll or do I want Hazy and Rosy together to be balanced and awesome together?

So far I’m holding out for tan and praying that they don’t discontinue Rosy without notice. You can never save up enough money for a new doll, which makes waiting okay.

The Royal/T Candyland Lolita party took place on Saturday and although I could only stay for less than 3 hours, I could tell this was one of the best meets I’ve ever been to. Wasabi’s efforts as well as everyone else’s were so clear and the event was a blast! I had so much fun hanging out with The_Madd_Hatter and seeing Ebi and GAUZE -mode of eve- again as well as meeting new people.

Oh my gosh, I just got my birthday gift and with that little boost, I’m very close to having enough to get Rosy!! Thank goodness she’s reasonably priced. Of course, Supia still does not have tan dolls so I will wait until they do.

Also, I’m INSANELY excited for the Royal/T Candy themed party this coming Saturday. I said I wasn’t going to have any themed outfits but I just got so excited that I made my girl an outfit, bought a matching wig, and bought myself a beautiful contrasting dress so that we make a really cute pair together. Perhaps I’ll have to carry her around the whole time instead of displaying her! I’m on the lookout for a wig this week for the final touch.

By the way, I was at a party yesterday and ended up meeting a lady who loves Blythes and wants to buy some. What a coincidence!! I told her about the Royal/T party. Doubt she’ll come, but man! What are the odds?! And if that’s not enough, she lives very close to the Artmaze store! Aagghh the coincidences!!

And last but not least in my current news (as if things couldn’t get any better)…..I’m ENGAGED!!!!!!! Woot!

This is what the two look like right now, LOL!!! Poor Daigo doesn’t have any pants that fit his new body so I had to cover him up in a more creative way. Doesn’t bother me too much, though. Look at those amazingly sculpted knees (I honestly think that’s the best part of the Unidoll body).

I just sold my darling Migidoll Ryu to a great customer and I resolved to use the money for car repairs and other important things. However, temptation is killing me! I’ve just gotten it into my head: How AMAZING would it be to have an Elfdoll Hazy, a Supia Rosy, and a Zaoll Luv all in the same room and even photograph them together?? Ack!! I want all three!

I had no idea from the company photos that Zaoll Luv is such an amazing and versatile sculpt. Temporallelement’s sale thread of this OOAK beauty alerted me to that fact and ever since I started looking up owner photos, I’ve been drooling non stop. (To think…temporallelement owns a Rosy and a Luv, but no Hazy!!) To own all three would cost me approx. $1150 to bring the total cost of the three girls to almost $1800. That’s with only default faceups. Ack!!! Maybe someday I’ll meet other owners who will let me photograph their dolls with mine. I can dream!

I had the pleasure of going to Artmaze’s latest party and I’d have to say this has to be one of the best meets I’ve been to yet! We got to meet the president of Dollheart, Pasu Lau, along with one of the designers, and then got to see a fashion show of human-sized Dollheart fers and fashions! Not only that, but everyone’s dolls looked even fancier with their Dollheart outfits. They looked so good, in fact, that I finally gave in and pre-ordered an outfit for Hazy. I loved talking to Gauze -mode of eve-, Anhelika, Mr. Postman, Ebi, Ms. Cholong (of course), and everyone else who I’m finally getting to know. I took a ton of photos so please take a look!

I must admit, I love a boy with ink. Finn probably has the best tattoos I’ve ever seen on a BJD; so bright, vivid, and well done that it’s a work of art in itself! As for his face…I knew I saw potential in Narin Charismas but I’ve never been so impressed with the mold until now!

Where lots of male dolls grab me at first, Griffin’s charm seems permanently stuck on me. He is what inspired me to finally piece my boy together and style him the way I have so far. He’s just a perfect blend of a great mold, great faceup, tons of style, and lots of man.

Sugarparody’s Marc (Migidoll Ryu)

In contrast to the manly men I usually fall for, Marc captured my attention right away. I’m a sucker for freckles and, I now realize, the Ryu mold (I own a Ryu, after all). This boy is simply adorable. Need I say more?

JinCIncy’s Khalid (Iplehouse Luo)

How could I get away with a feature on boys and NOT have someone’s Luo included? Actually, it took a great deal of restraint to pick only one Luo, and after seeing Jackie’s poolside shoot with her Khalid, I knew exactly which boy to showcase. With his mounds of attitude, beautiful face, and incredible body, I think Luo would sway tons of people to switch to a male-only collection.
